AIDS Walk Run
STAND UP TO THE STIGMA
AIDS Walk/Run Athens (AWRA) is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run by students from the University of Georgia.
On March 1, 2008, over 700 college students and community members ran and walked for the first annual AIDS walk in Athens, Georgia, to raise over $14,000 for AIDS Athens. Since then, AIDS Walk/Run Athens has raised over $24,000 for AIDS Athens, Inc.
